Varun Dhawan names his favourite cricketer in latest interview

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League is going to end very soon. This year fans witnessed many thrilling matches, remarkable performances and heartbreaks. 

On 25th may, Faf Du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore won in the eliminator match against the Lucknow Super Giants and made their way to closer to the finals. 

Rajasthan Royals lost the first game in the playoffs. But they got a second chance as they were in the top 2. RR will face RCB in the qualifier 2. The encounter will take place at the Narendra Modi stadium, Ahmedabad. The winner of this match will decide who will enter the mega-finale. 

On the other hand, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan was recently seen promoting his upcoming film ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ in a special feature with the broadcasters of the IPL, Star sports. During the interview, Varun was asked about his favorite cricketer.

It was an easy call for Dhawan as he mentioned the former Indian skipper’s name. He specifically mentioned the right-hander’s knock against Gujarat Titans and revealed that he is a big fan of Kohli.

“I’m a very big fan of Virat. I have been watching him play with so much spirit, love and passion for the game. Anushka has told me many stories. He is a gem of a guy. I’m not a fickle minded fan. I will support him till the end of his career. He is an outstanding player.”
