Video: Babar Azam’s illegal fielding awards 5 extra runs to West Indies

The West Indies tour to Pakistan began from 8th June. The two are to play a 3 match ODI series. The first two matches took place in the Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan. The hosts have sealed the series by winning the second match after the first one.

The first ODI took place on 8th June with west Indies winning the toss and elected to bat first. West Indies got a good start despite the early wicket of Kyle Mayers. Both Shai Hope and Sharmarh Brooks went on to put up a huge partnership for the second wicket and took the teams total to a massive 305 in 50 overs.

Pakistan too put up a dazzling performance with the bat chasing the total of 305 with 4 balls to spare. Babar Azam 105 and Imam-ul-haq’s 77 helped Pakistan to seal the victory.

The West Indies were looking for a comeback in the second back of the series to keep themselves alive. The second ODI took place on 10th June. But again the host went on to win the match with a great margin of 120 runs.

But Pakistan skipper Babar Azam did a huge blunder while playing the match. The skipper was seen to feild with gloves on. As a result of that, West Indies were awarded five penalty runs.
