Brain Fade Moment For Alyssa Healy Tries Stumping Without Ball In Hand
The Commonwealth Games Women’s Cricket Competition kick starts today with Indian Women’s playing Australian Women’s at the Edgbaston, Birmingham.
After winning the toss the Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur opted to bat first against a strong Australian side. The openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma added 25 runs for the first wicket. Mandhana who was looking great gone for 24 runs dismissed by Darcy Brown caught by Alyssa Healy.
Then Yastika Bhatia and Shefali Verma added 43 runs for the second wicket. Yastika got run out due to miscommunication from the pair at 68.
A totally brain fade moment occurred during the 9th over when the WK Alyssa Healy whipped of the glove that doesn’t have ball in it, it’s in the another glove and the bails have already been disturbed. Alyssa does it with the right glove too as the bails were already off she would have taken the stumps out but that wasn’t the case and Shefali declared not out. A total mess up by the Australian WK.
