In today’s match, Rishab pant, David Warner and Kane Williamson were involved in a funny incident during the ongoing match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
During the first innings, in the 4th over, Delhi Capital’s Rishab pant was in the striking end and he was facing Hyderabad’s Abbott. He simply faced the ball and called Warner for a quick single. But it went straight to Kane Williamson. Warner realised that, and went back as soon as possible. Kane threw the ball to non striking end, but he missed to hit the wickets, and also the fielder who was supposed to stop that throw from the behind, unable to stop that ball. And Rishab pant and David Warner end up getting a single.
DC started their innings not in a good way. They lost 2 wickets very early, but David Warner 92(58) and Rovman Powell 67(35) carried their whole team and scored a big target of 207/3.
Devid Warner scored a destructive 92 runs with 12 fours and 3 sixs.
In the post match interview Rovman Powell said,”I was trying my best. I wanted him to get to a hundred, but he asked me to hit as hard as I could, and wasn’t bothered about his own hundred (about Warner).”
