Video: Deepak Hooda’s massive six breaks Police Officer’s arm

IPL 2022, with the end of the league stage, the qualifiers are going on around in the Indian Premier League. The first qualifier was played on Tuesday between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans in which Gujarat Titans won and are going to play the finals. The eliminator game between the 3 rd and 4th team also took place between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Supergiants yesterday with Royal Challengers Bangalore eliminating Lucknow Supergiants out of the tournament in their debut season. RCB managed to win the match defeating LSG by 14 runs.

LSG won the toss and chose to bowl first. Inviting RCB to bat, RCB put a massive score of 207/4 on board with the help of Rajat Patidar’s century and Dinesh Karthik’s finish. Chasing the target was quite difficult as it was a high pressure match and the target was too high.

LSG though started well but lost their first wicket early in the form of Quinton de Kock. Kl Rahul and Deepak Hooda built a very good partnership of 96 runs. Kl Rahul played a captain’s innings I’d 79 off 58 balls with Deepak Hooda 45 off 26.

But the incident which caught everyone’s eye was the six which broke the hand of a Kolkata police officer who was standing in the stance in his duty and got hit by the six Deepak Hooda played in the over of Shahbaz Ahmed. The police officer was seen in pain after the ball hit him and it has been predicted that he had broken his arm during that.

The match ended with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the winning side and moved a step ahead to the finals with LSG getting knocked out after having a great debut season.
