He has an average speed of over 150kmph, a feat that many fast bowlers can only dream to achieve. And when he came face to face against Hardik Pandya, one of the biggest hitters in Indian cricket, it was only expected that all hell would break loose. And the prediction was correct. On a certain over, Umran Malik bowled a deadly bouncer to Hardik Pandya which hit his helmet directly and definitely hurt him a lot. However, he somehow managed himself and on the very next delivery, hit Umran for a four with a classy cover drive.
Hardik Pandya has been the highest runscorer of Gujarat Titans in this match and he is currently just about 10 runs away from his first fifty of IPL 2022.
