With international cricket back to its original form Pakistan are now taking on West Indies in their home. Three match odi series is taking place with the first match already played and Pakistan. They won the first ODI by 5 wickets at Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan.

Pakistan took their first lead of the series meanwhile the second odi is taking place in the same stadium. Babar won the toss and decided to bat first.

West Indies bowler Anderson Phillip got rid of Fakhar Zaman for just 17 runs (3 fours). Despite losing the first wicket early on, the Green Shirts steadied the ship in the form of Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam. Though the batting of Imam and Babar brought the match back to Pakistan. They played calculative shots and kept things in control before a miscommunication ruined things.

In the 28 over a miscommunication between Imam ul Haq and Babar Azam happened in the first place. While Imam made up his mind to get to the other end, Pakistan captain Babar Azam didn’t seem to move one bit. The Pakistan captain remained motionless at the other end.

The Wicketkeeper easily dislodged the bails and Imam had to depart after an important innings of 72 runs. Imam seemed unhappy. Babar Azam scored 77 and Pakistan set a target of 275/8. West Indies would like to equalise the series.
