In the latest game of IPL 2022, RR vs RCB which took place in MCA stadium from 7:30 pm IST, The RCB emerged pacer, Mohammad Siraj, was seen with his old aggression back on the field. The RCB pacer bowled a beautiful spell of 30 for 2 in 4 overs with two most crucial wickets and also a catch. The celebration came up after taking the wicket of Ravi Ashwin in the last bowl of the third over, bowled by Siraj. Ravichandran Ashwin got a good start but got held up by Siraj on his short ball. The off-spinner departed after getting caught and bowled by Mohammad Siraj which was followed by Siraj’s angry celebration. Though it seems to have come up in reply to the boundary hit by Ashwin in that over of Siraj itself.
In the very next over The RCB pacer took the catch of the in-form batsman, Jos Buttler, in the ball of Hazlewood and got another opportunity to celebrate his day.
Unfortunately, RCB ended up being on the losing side by 26 runs and RR got their well deserved 2 points to escalating their position in the points table. With this win, RR cemented their position at the top of the table.
