Mahendra Singh Dhoni has done the unthinkable again. He has provided a masterclass performance in tonight’s IPL El Clasico between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings and has thus stolen victory from the hands of Mumbai Indians. MI seemed to be in complete control of the match and they were on the verge of registering their first ever victory in the Indian Premier League 2022 but then came MS Dhoni in the last over and shattered their hopes of a win completely with his masterclass performance.
Mumbai Indians seemed to be in complete control of the second innings from the very beginning. They picked up some early wickets and it did not seem like Chennai Super Kings had an answer to their speedy pacers. Daniel Sams picked up 4 big wickets and cornered Chennai Super Kings at the DY Patil Stadium.
Although Dwayne Pretorius was playing well near the end of the match, it was not enough to muster a win for CSK and they needed as much as 17 runs to win in the last over. But that’s where MS Dhoni came in and turned the tables upside down.
He won the match in the last over with three boundaries in the over. The over went like W 1 6 4 2 4.
Mahi hit a four off the last delivery to win the match for CSK and it gave us vintage MS Dhoni Vibes.
