On the eve of the game against NZ in Kanpur, Rahul Dravid was seen bowling off spin to Indian batters in the nets to help them prepare for the game.

The official twitter account of BCCI released a video where Dravid is seen bowling to Cheteshwar Pujara.

Rahul Dravid used to be a part time off spinner during his playing days. The right-handed batsmen was a wicket-keeper as well. He has one test and four ODI wickets to his name.

Team India will be without some key players in the first test. Regular test captain Virat Kohli is on a break and will return to lead the team in the second test in Mumbai. Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah are given rest for the test series. KL Rahul on the other hand will be missing out due to a serious muscle strain on his left thigh.
