Head Coach Rahul Dravid was seen giving throwdowns to skipper Virat Kohli ahead of the second and final test at Mumbai.

The second test match between India and New Zealand will start a new chapter of Indian cricket as newly appointed head coach Rahul Dravid and skipper Virat Kohli will be playing their first match.
Kohli who was rested for the three match T20I series and the first test at Kanpur. Kohli will mark a return to play the final test at Mumbai.
On the eve of the game, Kohli was seen getting involved in an intense practice session. A video was shared from BCCI’s official twitter handle in which coach Rahul Dravid was seen giving him throwdowns.
BCCI captioned the post, “60 seconds of our joy. Virat Kohli takes centre stage.”
Due to persistent rain over the past two days, team India were unable to conduct their practice sessions at the stadium. The hosts moved to an indoor facility at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s in the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Meanwhile the skipper also shared the video from his official twitter handle and declared his comeback after a small break.
Kohli captioned the post as, “Back to Test cricket.”

Virat Kohli last featured in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in UAE where the team was knocked out quite early in the group stage.
Kohli’s return will help the top order batting line-ups which was seen struggling in the last game at Kanpur. Debutant Shreyas Iyer will retain his position after scoring a century and a fifty in the Kanpur test.
