Video: Rishabh Pant hits a Fabulous Reverse Sweep against Varun Chakravarthy

T20 Cricket is all about unique and spellbounding shots and when it comes to the Indian Premier League, we get to see unorthodox shots like these even more. However, not many elite players are usually seen playing shots like these. The player who were well known for playing peculiar shots is AB de Villiers. Among present day players, Glen Maxwell and Suryakumar Yadav are seen playing shots like these as well but when it comes to Indians playing funky shots, perhaps the most famous name that comes to our mind is the one and only Rishabh Pant.

The 24-year old Indian Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has already become a household name in the Cricket World and is one of the most Entertaining players in present day cricket. He is the captain of IPL franchise Delhi Capitals. Unorthodox shots like one handed six, reserve sweep and reverse pull are available in the arsenal of Rishabh Pant and he was seen using one of those shots in today’s match between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders.

He was facing KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy in the 10th over and Pant hit a brutal reverse shot that went for a four and the shot was praised by Commentators and fans alike.

Thanks to the brilliant performances of David Warner, Axar Patel, Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant, DC were able to pull off a fantastic first innings total of 215 runs and they are definitely the favourites to win the match from here.
