Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi had dismissed openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul along with skipper Virat Kohli in their opening encounter.

The left arm spinner was in fire during Pakistan’s first Super 12 game of the tournament against arch-rivals India. The left armer dismantled team India’s top order as Pakistan found themselves victorious.
Shaheen Afridi removed ‘The Hitman’ in the very first over of the game as the white ball deputy of the team departed without scoring a run. Rohit was found right in front of the stumps.
Afridi then went on to remove KL Rahul as he shattered his stumps in his next over. Afridi in the end removed skipper Kohli who attempted a pull shot and edged the ball to Mohammad Rizwan behind the stumps.
Pakistan were playing their last Super 12 game against Scotland at Sharjah on November 7. Shaheen Afridi was fielding at deep square leg. Suddenly the crowd started chanting the name of Rohit Sharma.
Shaheen Afridi replied by mocking in the way the opener was trapped in front of the stumps. A delivery later, the crowd started chanting the name of KL Rahul. Shaheen Afridi cheekily enacted the way he bowled KL Rahul through the gate.
The fans then started chanting the name of skipper Virat Kohli. Afridi then enacted the way Kohli was fooled with a slow bouncer.

Shaheen Afridi has been in excellent form. So far he has picked up 6 wickets in the tournament. He has picked up wickets at an average of 22.33, and has also leaked runs at an economy rate of just 6.70 as well. Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali and Haris Rauf has taken 19 wickets in 5 matches. Pakistan became the first team to qualify for the playoffs with the only team to have a 100% winning record in the tournament.
They will take on Australia in the semi-finals. The knockout match will be played at the Dubai International Stadium on November 11.
