Pakistan’s left arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi failed to control his temper as he threw the ball towards the batsmen in the follow-through.

Bangladesh and Pakistan locked horns with each other to play the 2nd T20I match of the series at the Sher-E Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. Upon winning the toss, skipper Mahmudullah decided to bat first. But the hosts were in great trouble as they lost the wickets of both the openers Mohammad Naim and Saif Hussain quite early in the innings. The duo made their way to the pavilion as Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim dismissed both in the first two overs of the game.
The incident took place in the third over of the match. Afif Hossain came on to bat at No. 4 after Mohammad Naib was removed by Mohammad Wasim. The southpaw started the innings in a high. Shaheen Afridi was smashed for a huge six in the second ball of the over. In the next ball, he went on to bowl a full-length delivery. Afridi collected the ball in the follow through, turned around and fired a throw at the stumps. The ball hit Afif Hossain who played a defensive shot. The batsmen looked in a lot of pain after being hit by the leather. The ball hit the batsmen on the toe. All the players of the opposition team went on to check for the batter. However, Afridi was quick enough to apologize and check for the batter.

Afif Hossain went on to score 20 off 21 deliveries with a four and a six before being removed by Shadab Khan. The hosts somehow managed to put up 108/7 on the board.
In response to the total, Pakistan chased the target with ease with 11 balls to spare. Fakhar Zaman’s unbeaten 57 off 51 deliveries handed Pakistan an easy 8 wicket win over the hosts.
