Umran Malik is definitely the find of the season for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Although he made his debut for SRH in IPL 2021, he has gained a much more important role in the squad this season after being retained. Umran Malik is now one of the most important members of the SRH bowling unit and he also sets apart the SRH team from the rest of the teams in the IPL as no other teams possess an Indian pacer with such sheer speed. Umran Malik showed his class yet again in today’s match as he went on to pick up as many as 4 wickets in today’s match.
Umran Malik was hands down the best bowler in the SRH bowling unit today. Although Bhuvneshwar Kumar performed well too and he picked up 3 wickets, Umran Malik was a tad better and he picked up 1 wicket more at an economy of just 7 which can be considered to be fabulous in T20 Cricket.
Well, he had only one wicket till the very last over of the match and everything changed in the last over when he picked up 3 wickets and gave a maiden over. The last over went like 0 w 0 w w w(runout) and there was also a Runout in the last ball of the match.
With this, Umran Malik has now climbed many steps up the Purple cap table and he is one of the biggest contenders to win the prestigious award this season.
