VIDEO: Umran Malik injures Mayank Agarwal with a deadly bouncer

The Indian Premier League has been quite interesting with incidents making it more. On Sunday Sunrisers Hyderabad met Punjab kings in the last match of the tournament’s league stage. Punjab won the toss and invited SRH to bat first. Batting first SRH put a total of 157 on board losing 8 wickets with the help of Abhishek Sharma and Romario Shepherd’s innings.

In the reply Punjab chased down the target in just 15 overs losing with the help of Liam Livingston’s destructive 22 ball 49 not out. Though both the teams were out of the race for playoffs, they gave their all to the match.

But a speedy ball of Umran Malik, who had surprised everyone with his speed, hit Mayank Agarwal’s ribs in the seventh over. Umran Malik bowled a short pitch in the fourth ball of the seventh over. Mayank Agarwal tried to play this ball but completely missed and the ball went straight to his ribs. After that he fell on the ground. Mayank Agarwal was moaning in pain. Immediately after this the physio came running and he was treated. Umran Malik also started injuring the players at his own pace.

Umran Malik who has been known for his raw pace has both impressed and injured many with his pace. His 157 kmp ball in this ongoing IPL has got everyone’s heart as India had been looking for such a bowler all these years. The Indian team will play a series of five T20 matches with South Africa. Umran Malik, who has become the second name of speed in the IPL 2022 season, has immediately got a place in the team. Arshdeep Singh has also been given a place in the Indian team for this series.
