Virender Sehwag comes up with a piece of advice for Ravindra Jadeja

As we all know, Chennai Super Kings have seen a massive change in their leadership in IPL 2022 with MS Dhoni being replaced as the captain of the team by Ravindra Jadeja. This is the first ever season in which MS Dhoni is not the captain of CSK and we can call it a historic season.

However stepping into MS Dhoni’s shoes is not an easy task and Ravindra Jadeja is getting a taste of it to every bit. Chennai Super Kings have performed horribly so far in the Indian Premier League this season and they are currently placed at the very bottom of the points table. Ravindra Jadeja, who was till this season one of the best performers of Chennai Super Kings, has been a flop so far this season and we can see the pressure of captaincy taking a toll on him.

Jadeja is clearly having troubles handling the captaincy pressure and now Indian cricket legend Virender Sehwag has come up with some advice for Ravindra Jadeja. He has advised the veteran player to put his phone on airplane mode and not pay any heed at all to what the critics are saying.

Sehwag said, “My advice for Jadeja would be that these things will continue, don’t pay heed to them. If you think about that, you won’t be able to concentrate on the field because whenever you make a decision, you’ll continuously think, ‘What will they say? What will the fans think? What will the teammates think?’ You won’t be able to take the right decision through all that.”

“Put your phone on Airplane Mode. No one gives newspapers during this Covid phase anyway, you can keep your TV off. So just stay in your room and enjoy. The more you’ll read and watch these things, the worse your mind will get. Whenever you want to update your social media, put the phone out of the Airplane mode and do that then put it back,” he added.
