Australia and Pakistan are currently facing off against each other in the third and final Test of the 3-match test series between them. The first two test matches ended in a draw and the final match is being played at the Gaddafi stadium. It is the series decided and whoever wins it will end up winning this eventful 3-match test series.
So far it has been a pretty even match and it looks like it will get a winner, unlike the first two test matches that ended in a draw. Australia batted first and scored 391 runs. Coming on the bat in their first innings, Pakistan played well but were not able to reach Australia’s total. They could manage a total of only 268 runs which is not too bad but not great as well.
Australia is currently batting in their second innings and they have a lead of 134 runs. It can be said that the match is even from here and either of the two sides has equal chances of winning it. However, as Australia have a decent lead, they undoubtedly have some advantage.
Pakistan will have to bowl very well on Day 4 to stay in the match and if they are able to all-out Australia within a lead of 350 runs, they will instantly become the favourites to win the match. A lot will depend on how Day 4 goes.
The best moment of Day 3 of the match was definitely the adorable banter between David Warner and Shaheen Afridi. It occurred during Australia’s second innings. Shaheen was playing bowling the third over and David Warner was facing him. The last delivery of the over was a dot ball and after bowling, Shaheen Afridi went running towards Warner and the two players had an epic staredown.
The height difference between the two made it very hilarious and the two players ended up laughing as well. The video was shared by Pakistan Cricket’s official Twitter page and it went viral in no time.
