WATCH : Pat Cummins Destroys Daniel Sams – Smashed 35 Runs In 1 Over to create history!

Pat Cummins just raised the heat of the Indian Premier League 2022 by his sensational 14-ball half-century against Mumbai Indians which not only won KKR the match with 4 overs to go but also won him the record for the joint-fastest half-century in the Indian Premier League history alongside KL Rahul who scored a similar 14-ball fifty against Delhi Capitals back in 2018 back when he used to play for Punjab Kings.

Mumbai Indians were completely winning the match until the 15th over when they had picked up 4 wickets and KKR still needed about 50 runs to go. But then came Pat Cummins and he changed everything. He started off in the 3rd gear from the very beginning and did not even leave Jasprit Bumrah. He faced a total of three bowlers – Bumrah, Mills and Daniel Sams and went completely rogue against all of them.

However, he wreaked havoc, particularly in Daniel Sams’ over wherein he scored 35 runs which were earth-shattering for Mumbai Indians and they lost the match in just 1 over. Had it not been for Pat Cummins, MI were the clear favourites to win the match and then Cummins turned the tables by 180 degrees.

This is one of the craziest and the most historic knocks ever in Indian Premier League history and Pat Cummins’ name will be written in gold. Apart from his stellar batting performance, Cummins also picked up 2 wickets with the ball and he much deservedly won the Player of the Match award.

Here is the record of every ball Pat Cummins faced: 1, 6, 4, 0, 0, 7, 4, 1, 6, 4, 6, 6, 3NB, 4, 6
