On Day 3 of the ongoing 3rd test between Australia and Pakistan, there was a huge tussle between David Warner and Shaheen Afridi but it ended in a hilarious staredown between the two players. After bowling the final delivery of the third over of Australia’s second innings, Shaheen Afridi raced up to the Australian opener and they had a staredown. The height difference between them was hilarious and even the players started laughing.
However, Shaheen Afridi has now come up with a brilliant comeback on Day 4 of the match as he dismissed Warner with an absolute reaper. Shaheen has been in a tremendous form throughout the ongoing test series but this might very well be the best delivery of the entire series.
Warner had just completed his half-century and he was batting on 51 when Shaheen Afridi bowled a good length delivery and clean bowled David Warner. The look on Warner’s face said it all and he departed after a fine knock.
Australia declared in the second innings after a decent score of 227/3 and it clearly showed that captain Pat Cummins was going all out for a win.
However, some opine that this was a bad decision as it has opened up an opportunity for Pakistan to win the match on the final day of the match which would also win the series for them. It is thus a big gambit that Pat Cummins has played and it is now to see whether they succeed in it.
