RCB were wearing the black ribbons to pay tribute to Harshal Patel’s sister who recently passed away after suffering from an illness for a long time. Harshal Patel has left the RCB bio bubble and he has travelled all the way to his home to stay beside his family in his hour of grief by taking special permission from the RCB management and the RCB players have now decided to show their support to their beloved teammate and his family by wearing these black ribbons – an absolute class act by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Faf du Plessis and his men are playing without the services of Harshal Patel against CSK tonight and they are clearly missing his presence. Chennai Super Kings just demolished the Royal Challengers Bangalore bowling lineup in the first innings and it could have been stopped if Harshal Patel was playing in the match. RCB are missing him very much and we do not know for sure how many more days Faf du Plessis will have to make his starting XI without Harshal Patel. We hope that he returns soon.
