The ongoing test between India and South Africa attracted a lot of attention until rain interrupted the course of the play on Day 4.

It was expected that either of the sides would come out victorious on Day 4 but that is not the case now. So far not a single delivery has been bowled on the penultimate day of the test match. It’s been raining since the first session at Johannesburg on Thursday.

But the match has delivered some great moments in the first three days. One such incident took place in the fourth innings of the game when the Proteas were chasing down the target.

The incident took place in the 10th over of the game when Shardul Thakur was bowling to opener Aiden Markram. Markram was found in front of the stumps in the final ball of the over. But before that, Shardul Thakur and the Team India had appealed twice in the first five deliveries.

After his dismissal when the players were exchanging sides, on field umpire Marais Erasmus said something which was caught on the stump mic.

Erasmus said, “you guys are giving me a bloody heart attack after every over”. It was an intense over for both the teams along with the on-field umpire as he had to take some close calls.

The players from both the sides were found exchanging words at each other in multiple occasions. Rishabh Pant and Van Der Dussen were involved in such arguments twice in the same day. While Jasprit Bumrah who is known for his calm behaviour was also seen having a heated verbal argument with Marco Jansen.

At stumps on Day 3, the Proteas have managed to put up 118 runs on the board at the cost of two wickets. Dean Elgar and Van Der Dussen were on the crease. The visitors need 8 wickets to take a 2-0 lead in the series while the home side require 122 runs to level the series.
