Yuvraj Singh wants to groom THIS player as the future Indian Test Captain

The former Indian allrounder and world Cup winner Yuvraj Singh has opined that the 24 year old young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant should be groomed to be the leader of the Indian test team. Rishabh Pant who have been seen captaining Delhi Capitals from 2021 due to the absence of their former captain Shreyas Iyer have impressed netigens as well as experts with his captaincy skills. Yuvraj singh said Pant needs to be “groomed and given time”, describing the wicketkeeper-batsman as a player whose “game has evolved in recent years.”

Yuvraj Singh believes Rishabh Pant can lead Team India in Tests in future. The former Indian player cited an example of how Dhoni became the captain from nowhere and today ended up as one of the greatest captains glorifying India in all the three formats by stating “You must get someone ready. Like Mahi became captain out of nowhere but they made him, right! Then he evolved. Wicketeeper is always a good thinker because he always has the best view on the ground.”

Rishabh Pant had been seen playing some heroics knocks inthe recent years and brought victory to team India. One of the biggest example remains “The Gabba” in 2021. The 24 yr old has also scored 4 centuries all over in test and did some wonderful keeping behind the stumps.

Yuvraj Singh ended up with his vision that in terms of best wicketkeeper batsman he could see Rishabh Pant to be an ultimate future Legend.
