Yuzi Chahal recalls the time when an MI player hung him from 15th floor balcony

Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the most fun-loving players in the Indian cricket contingent currently. He loves to fool around with his friends on and off the ground and when it comes to comedy, he is just the best. His recent comic stint with the Rajasthan Royals twitter admin proves this the best. However, some people take comedy and jokes too far and Yuzvendra Chahal revealed in a recent interview that he has had first hand experience of the same.

In the interview, Chahal revealed that back when he used to play for Mumbai Indians during the initial days of his career, he faced a particular instance where an unnamed player pulled off a joke against him that went too far. However he has denied to reveal the name of the player as he does not want him to have a bad reputation due to this incident.

He said, “Very few people know my story. I have never told this story. Tsi dates back in 2013, when I was with Mumbai Indians, we had a hand in Bangalore. We had a get-together, and there was a player who got very drunk. I won’t say his name. He was very drunk, he was looking at me for a long time and he just called me and he took me outside and hung he out on the balcony. “

“His hands were locked on my neck and hand I lost my grip…I was on the 15th floor. Suddenly, many people who were there came out and handled the scenario. I kind of fainted, they gave me water. Then I realized how responsible we need to be when we go anywhere. So this was the incident where I felt I made a narrow escape. Had there been teh slightest of mistakes, I would’ve fallen down,” Chahal further added.
